I have a dream

CE1 International Section students have been studying Martin Luther King. He was an American Baptist minister and activist who became the most visible spokesperson and leader in the Civil Rights Movement from 1955 until his assassination in 1968. In connection with Martin Luther King, we studied a book called « The Crayon Box That Talked » by Shane DeRolf. It discusses how each person is important despite their differences and how we need to accept those differences. Each student was asked to color a crayon with their picture in the middle. Then they were asked to finish the following sentence: “If our class were a box of crayons, I would be the color __________ because _____________.” You can view their work by clicking here.
